We are in the swing of apple season-so that means making as many apple desserts as possible! A cross between a tart and cake-this recipe is awesome because it's a great way to whip up a dessert in no time, especially when you don't have the time to make a pie.

ingredients
- 6 apples, peeled
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 splash vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Method
Step 1
In a mixer beat together 3 eggs and 1/2 cup sugar.
Step 2
Add in a splash of vanilla and ½ teaspoon of baking powder.
Step 3
Turn on to low speed and add in ¾ cup flour, mix it all together.
Step 4
Peel and slice the apples.
Step 5
Spray a tart or cake pan and place apple sliced on the bottom of the pan.
Step 6
Pour the batter over the apples.
Step 7
Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 350°F.
Step 8
Once finished baking, flip it over onto a plate so the apples are on top.
Step 9
Let if cool down for 10 minutes then sift some powdered sugar on top. Enjoy!
