ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 4 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk, or milk of your choice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice (about 4 limes), freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest

Whipped Cream

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Method

  • Step 1

    In a small bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Divide half of the mixture evenly among 4 glasses.

  • Step 2

    Using a hand mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest and beat until creamy.

  • Step 3

    Spoon half of the key lime filling into the glasses on top of the graham cracker crust.

  • Step 4

    Then repeat with the rest of the graham cracker crumbs, and then with the rest of the filling, to make layers.

  • Step 5

    Chill the glasses in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. When ready to serve, garnish with whipped cream and lime zest.
