ingredients
- 1 sheet rolled flat store-bought pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 package pepperoni slices
- 1 beaten egg
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400F.
Step 2
Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut the pizza dough into 1 1/2 inch strips. Evenly spread the pizza sauce and cheese among the strips. Place the pepperoni along the strips, then carefully roll them up like a rose.
Step 3
Place the rolled up roses on a foil-lined baking sheet. Brush the beaten egg on the dough, then bake for about 20 minutes or until the dough is cooked and golden brown.
Step 4
In a small microwave safe bowl, add in the butter. Microwave for 30 seconds, then add in the dried parsley, dried basil, and garlic powder. Stir to mix then brush the butter mixture on the baked pizza roses. Serve and enjoy!
