Recipe Description
Who needs to spend $7 on coffee when you can make homemade blueberry syrup & recreate it home for less? The blueberry syrup will allow you to make multiple iced lattes to help stretch your dollar even further.
If you're like us, and you just love to sip on a little bevvy you can even mix the syrup in with seltzer water with a splash of lime juice. Or, go wild and make a blueberry cocktail.

Ingredient Notes
Blueberries: You can make this recipe with fresh or frozen blueberries. If using frozen blueberries, do not thaw them.
Sugar: We used granulated sugar for this recipe, but you could use brown sugar for a more intense flavor.
Edible lavender: Also referred to as culinary lavendar, this item is often found at specialty food stores. Omit if you are unable to source it, or if you do not want to source it.
Coffee: We did not include a measurement for coffee in this recipe, as a few recipe testers used different amounts. We recommend using anywhere from 4-12 ounces of coffee, depending on how much caffeine you consume on a regular basis.
Milk: The viral coffee shop that "invented" this drink recommends using whole milk. We love adding whole milk to our coffee, so that's what we use, but honestly anything goes here! Feel free to swap in the dairy-free milk of your choosing.
FAQs
Can I make this with a different type of fruit?
Absolutely! We've heard this is also delicious with strawberry syrup. You can use the same measurement of fruit, but if you use a larger fruit than blueberries (like strawberries) we recommend chopping it before you make the syrup.
How much syrup should I add to the latte?
However much you like. If you only like a touch of sweetness, start with a ½ teaspoon. People who prefer a sweeter beverage may find themselves adding up to 2 tablespons.
How do I know if lavender is edible?
You can purchase edible or culinary lavender at most specialty food stores. If you are unable to find it, simply omit it.
I don't have lavender, but want to add herbs. What do you recommend?
Rosemary or thyme!
