The best part about slow cooking something alll afternoon It's gotta be that moment when you go to tear the meat apart, and it just falls straight off the bone. then you know you've done your job. - Dinner tonight is all organic Cinnamon Lamb Shank Buckwheat Soup. I didn't bother to measure anything (soz guys) but my idea came from the traditional lamb and pearl barley soup. I substituted in activated organic buckwheat to make it gluten free, and inadvertently grain free and paleo too.

Recipe

Recipe:

1 diced organic onion
3 cloves organic garlic, sautéed in a tablespoon of organic extra virgin coconut oil

Once softened add:
3 free range organic lamb shanks from @garysqualitymeats to brown
1 tsp organic turmeric
1 tsp paprika
Juice of half a lemon
2 organic cinnamon quills 
Big pinch of @botanicalcuisine lemon sea salt


4 fresh sprigs of organic rosemary

Sitr to combine, then add:
2 tins organic preservative free diced tomatoes
2 tins water
1 cup organic grass fed bone broth

Bring to a boil, turn down to simmer, and cook for 2 hours.

Add:
5 chopped stalks organic celery
2 chopped organic carrots
1 cup of activated buckwheat

Cook for further 2 hours.
