Whipped Dalgona Coffee Brûlée

"Dalgona coffee is currently the internet’s favorite drink right now! I’ve seen so many variations of this drink but decided to take it up a notch. I added a pinch of cinnamon to my coffee froth and torched the top of it for that satisfying hardened caramelized layer."

ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • pinch cinnamon
  • 8 ounces milk of choice

Method

  • Step 1

    In a small bowl, add instant coffee, sugar and hot water (I just heated my water using a microwave), cinnamon. Using an electric mixer or by hand, whisk the coffee mixture until it is thick and fluffy, about 5-7 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Pour a glass of your milk of choice. Scoop the coffee froth over the milk and flatten top using a spoon. Using a torch, slightly torch the coffee froth to caramelize. Enjoy immediately!
