ingredients

  • 10 large Belleville sorrel leaves
  • 1/2 cup diced blue cheese
  • 1/3 cup diced yellow onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 1/2 cup prunes
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Method

  • Step 1

    Mix all ingredients except sorrel

  • Step 2

    Cut rib out of the sorrel leaf and cut in half lengthwise.

  • Step 3

    Place two halves of the sorrel leaf perpendicular to each other and on top of each other.

  • Step 4

    Wrap about 1 oz of a mix in the top sorrel leaf, then wrap again in the other leaf. This is similar to the way you roll a dolma.

  • Step 5

    Place tightly in a pan. Place each roll with the flap side down.

  • Step 6

    Bake for 15 minutes until warm.
