ingredients

  • 13 ounce boneless pork shoulder
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 2 tabelspoons onions
  • 3 stalk lemongrass
  • 1 tabelspoons brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tabelspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tabelspoons fish sauce
  • 2 tabelspoons soy sauce
  • 1 tabelspoons honey

Method

  • Step 1

    Soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 5 minutes before cooking.

  • Step 2

    Cut pork into bite-sized pieces.

  • Step 3

    Combine all other ingredients in a food processor and purée until smooth and transfer to a large bowl.

  • Step 4

    Marinate pork slices in the purée mixture for 20 minutes at room temperature.

  • Step 5

    Thread pork loosely onto skewers.

  • Step 6

    Grill the pork skewers for 7 minutes over medium-high heat.

  • Step 7

    Serve with a sauce, if desired.
