ingredients
- 1/4 cup oil
- 3 ounce Yukon gold potatoes
- 2 ounce Carrots
- 1 ounce onions
- 4 clove garlic
- 28 ounce beef tenderloin
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tabelspoons tomato paste
- 3 cup beef stock
- 2 tabelspoons liver spread
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 ounce green bell pepper
- 1 cup green peas
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Step 1
In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat oil and sear bite-size pieces of beef until brown.
Step 2
Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
Step 3
Stir in tomato paste. Cook for 1 minute.
Step 4
Add soy sauce, tomato sauce, bay leaf, minced garlic, and stock.
Step 5
Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer.
Step 6
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Step 7
Add diced potatoes and carrots.
Step 8
Add the liver spread and simmer for another 10 minutes.
Step 9
Add green peas, chopped bell peppers, and return to simmer for another 5 minutes.
Step 10
Season with salt and pepper.
Step 11
Top with grated parmesan cheese.
Step 12
Serve with a slice of French bread and a bottle of red wine.
