ingredients
- 1 servings fresh Cauliflower
- 1 bottle at room temperature Prego Sauce
- 3 servings fresh Portuguese Rolls
- 1 tablespoons fresh Olive Oil
- To Taste fresh Salt and Pepper
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
Step 2
Slice your cauliflower into 1.5cm (0.6 inch) “steaks”. Leaving the large stem on the bottom so they maintain their shape. You should be able to get 3 slabs from one cauliflower. Keep the extra cauliflower florets for another use.
Step 3
Place on a baking tray and rub the “steaks” with oil, prego sauce and a grind of salt and pepper.
Step 4
Place them in the oven for 30 minutes, gently turning them once to brown both sides evenly.
Step 5
Serve the “steaks” on Portuguese rolls with some extra sauce drizzled on the rolls.
