ingredients
- 4 bunches radishes (about 40), cleaned and greens removed
- 1/4 cup chives, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup Italian flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons black sesame seeds, optional
- Salt, to taste
Method
Step 1
Thinly slice radishes using a mandolin or a very sharp knife.
Step 2
Stack a few radishes on top of each other and cut the slices into thin matchsticks.
Step 3
In a medium bowl, toss julienned radishes with all other ingredients (chives, parsley, olive oil, lemon juice, white wine vinegar, salt to taste, and black sesame seeds if desired).
Step 4
If time allows, let marinate for 10 minutes before serving!
