"Roasted pears for dessert never tasted this good. The pears caramelize when drizzled with honey butter that’s a touch salty and a touch sweet. Finish with a sprinkle of finely chopped walnuts. Honey butter roasted pears are my new favorite dessert! Have a little more fun in the kitchen by cooking along with me and my hubbie on my YouTube channel, TastefullyGrace!"

ingredients
- 2 just-ripe Bosc pears
- 2 tablespoons salted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2
To prepare pears: Cut pears in half lengthwise. The stem will be attached to one half of the pear. Use your knife to remove the little brown knob at the bottom of the pear. Now grab a teaspoon. You should see the silhouette of the core of the pear. Hollow out the core; you shouldn’t need to go too deep.
Step 3
To prepare honey butter: Mix together the melted butter, honey and vanilla. Spoon half of the mixture all over the pear halves (in the divot and outside).
Step 4
To roast: Roast for 30 minutes. Microwave leftover butter mixture for 10 seconds and spoon all over pears. Sprinkle with walnuts. Serve as-is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
