ingredients

  • 1 English cucumber, very thinly sliced
  • 1/2 medium red onion, very thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup seasoned rice wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black sesame seeds
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • to taste Salt

Method

  • Step 1

    Add all ingredients to a medium bowl.

  • Step 2

    Stir and let marinate for 15 minutes if time allows. Serve with a slotted spoon or with the juices.
