Recipe Card

ingredients

  • 80 grams pastry flour, gluten free
  • 50 grams almond flour, gluten free
  • 2 pieces eggs,
  • 1 piece yogurt, sugar free
  • 30 grams honey,
  • 1/2 piece lemon juice,
  • 1/2 piece lemon zest,
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract,
  • 5 grams yeast,
  • 60 milliliter warm water,
  • 40 grams whey protein,

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven up and down to 180ºC (356ºF)

  • Step 2

    Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Remember that the flours must be sieved.

  • Step 3

    In another bowl add all the wet ingredients.

  • Step 4

    Dump the dry ingredients in the bowl of the wet ones until creating a homogeneous mass.

  • Step 5

    Once done, grease the doughnut mould with a tad of oil and fill them with the dough until it is approximately 1cm missing.

  • Step 6

    Let them cool while preparing the frosting. Sift the whey protein and add the warm water. Dip the lemon doughnuts in the frosting and let it dry.
