Orange Freeze

"I, always make my own ice cream than to buy ready made because I want to be more flexible when it comes to flavouring. But, if anyone of you wants to try this you can follow this easy but surely steps"

Method

  • Step 1

    - Cut the lid off each orange then, scoop out the flesh. - Place the shells and lids in the freezer. - Chop any remaining orange flesh. - Whisk together the orange juice and flesh and vanilla ice cream, until well blended. Cover and freeze for about 2 hrs (if your ice cream is ready made but if not, make it 6hrs - set the freezer to rapid freeze) - Place a scoop of the ice cream mixture into the frozen shells. Add another scoop on top. - Return the freezer to its normal setting.
