ingredients
- 9 ounces Jamun Plum
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon pink salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
Method
Step 1
Remove the seeds from the Jamun. Boil the water and sugar together on medium heat to make a sugar syrup. Once the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and let it cool down for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Now in a mixer add the pitted Jamuns, the sugar syrup, cumin powder, black pepper, kala namak and the juice of 1 lemon. Blend until everything is very well combined.
Step 3
Set them in Kulfi moulds or any moulds you have. After 2 hours insert ice cream sticks in them (that’s when they are semi set). Let it set overnight or for 8-9 hours.
