ingredients

  • 180 grams Nutella
  • 1 medium Egg
  • 145 grams all purpose Flour
  • chopped Hazelnuts/walnuts

Method

  • Step 1

    In a bowl, pour the nutella and the whole egg and start mixing vigorously with a hand whisk.

  • Step 2

    Add the sifted flour and start mixing slowly with a wooden spoon, then continue by hand if necessary, until the dough is compact and homogeneous.

  • Step 3

    Divide the dough into equal pieces and form one ball at a time, place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and immediately create a cavity on the surface of the ball of dough, applying light pressure with a finger or with the back of a whisk, or a wooden spoon, with a flat base.

  • Step 4

    Leave the pan to rest in the fridge for at least an hour.

  • Step 5

    Bake Nutellotti in a preheated oven on 175 °C for 9 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave to cool.

  • Step 6

    Fill the cavities of biscuit with Nutella. Decorate the surface with chopped hazelnuts/walnuts.
