ingredients

Whipped cinnamon butter

  • 1 cup plant-based Wesson original butter
  • 1/8 cup cinnamon powder
  • 1 tabelspoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teapsoon vanilla extract
  • dash of fine salt

Method

Whipped cinnamon butter

  • Step 1

    Add ingredients to a large bowl and mix with electric beater until creamy

  • Step 2

    Transfer whipped butter to a jar or bowl and cover before storing in fridge

Blackberry compote

  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1 tablepoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tablepoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

Cooking the blackberry compote

  • Step 1

    Wash, drain and pat dry the berries

  • Step 2

    Add ingredients to small saucepan and cook on medium heat while stirring frequently until boils and bubbles

  • Step 3

    Lower heat and simmer, stirring frequently, for a few minutes

  • Step 4

    Let cool down before transferring to jar or bowl and cover and before storing in fridge

Preparing the breakfast toast

  • Step 1

    Toast your favorite sliced bread then spread whipped cinnamon butter, berry compote and top with your favorite fruit, seeds, grains or nuts!
