ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh Radishes
  • 4 strips thick-cut Bacon (chopped)
  • 1 tabelspoons apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoo Clover Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoo kosher Salt
  • 1/3 fresh basil

Method

  • Step 1

    place bacon in a large nonstick skillet: Cook over medium heat stirring occasionally until just starting to brown. about 4 minutes

  • Step 2

    Add radishes and Shallots to skillet: cook stirring occasionally until radishes are tender and bacon is crisp. About 12 minutes

  • Step 3

    Push radishes and bacon to one side, Carefully tilt skillet to drain drippings. Discard bacon grease (or put in a cup and add oatmeal to soak it up and feed it to the birds as suet) Reserving 1 tablespoon in skillet. Add Vinegar, Honey, Salt, Pepper. stir to incorporate. remove from heat and stir in basil, serve immediately.
