ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated Apple Pie Crust
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 tabelspoons Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 4 cups peeled and thinly sliced Apples (about 4 medium apples)
  • 1 egg white Slightly Beaten
  • 1 teaspon Brown Suger for glaze

Method

  • Step 1

    Prepare Crust as directed on the package. Place on a foil lined backing sheet. Press out any folds if necessary.

  • Step 2

    Mix 3/4 Cup sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Todd with apples. Spoon into center of crust, spreading to within 2 inches of the edge. Fold 2 inch edge over apples, Pleating Crust as needed. Brush Crust with egg white Sprinkle with Brown Sugar

  • Step 3

    Bake in Preheated (425 degree F) Oven 20-30 minutes until apples are tender. Cool slightly before serving. (Some Ice cream goes great with this or just on its own)
