- 1/ 2 cup Brown Sugar
- 4 teaspoons Corn Starch
- 4 teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tsp Soy Sauce
- 1/ 2 tsp Salt
- 3/ 4 cup Water
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
- 400 gram Seitan Loaf
- 100 gram Bell Peppers
- 1 tablespoon Extra Corn Starch for coating
Cut your Seitan loaf and Bell Peppers in cubes, or shred it to pieces, as you prefer. If you don't have Seitan loaf, you can easily make it yourself (watch the video on my YouTube channel to see how).
Put the frying pan in high heat and quickly saute the peppers. Add Seitan cubes/shreds coated in corn starch and saute everything together. Do not fully cook it through, just develop the colour and take off the heat.
Mix all the ingredients (except for the Seitan and lemon juice together).
Put the sauce pan with mixed ingredients on low heat, while whisking continuously.
Once the sauce is thickened, take it off the heat, add lemon juice and whisk again.
Add the sautered Seitan and Peppers, and enjoy!
