No-Bake Vegan Chocolate Cake

It’s been with me since I can remember, my older brother used to cook it all the time, and when I moved to Cyprus, it followed in the form of Doukissa 🙂 So now, it’s time to share it with you. Serves or Makes: 10


  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 3 1/ 2 ounces soy milk
  • 4 3/ 4 ounces non-dairy butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 ounces table biscuits, crushed
  • 1 ounce walnuts, chopped


  • Step 1

    In a small saucepan on medium heat, whisk together cocoa powder, soy milk, butter and sugar. Whisk continuously, until the mixture is completely uniform. Take off the heat, and cool down.

  • Step 2

    In a small bowl, mix together the biscuits and walnuts.

  • Step 3

    Add dry biscuit mixture into the liquid cocoa mixture gradually, allowing the biscuits to soak up the liquid a bit.

  • Step 4

    Pour the mixture into small molds.

  • Step 5

    Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours, or overnight.
