ingredients

  • 12 ounces NY Strip
  • 1/4 a thinly sliced Red onion
  • 1/2 a thinly sliced Serrano Pepper
  • 1/4 cups chopped Cilantro
  • 4 count juiced Key limes
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoons Salsa Maggie
  • pinch Black pepper

Method

  • Step 1

    Season your NY Strip with salt and pepper on both sides. Sear in hot pan fat side down for 1 minute. Then each side for about 5 minutes (gives medium rare). When done, set meat on cutting board and let rest for 8 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Thinly slice serrano and red onion. Rough chop small bunch of cilantro.

  • Step 3

    In a small bowl or cup, combine lime juice, soy sauce, salsa Maggie and pepper.

  • Step 4

    Once meat is done resting, thinly slice steak (about 1/4 inch thick) and lay strips flat on plate.

  • Step 5

    Pour lime juice mixture over sliced steak. Top with onions, cilantro and finish with Serrano pepper slices. Enjoy!
