ingredients

  • 3 cardamom pods, crushed
  • 1/2 cinnamon stick, crushed or whole
  • 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon black tea leaves
  • to taste sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk

Method

  • Step 1

    Add 2 cups of water into a medium pot, over medium-high heat. Add cardamom, cinnamon and ginger. Once the water reduces by half, add black tea leaves and sugar. After one minute, add milk and bring the mixture to a boil. Strain the mixture and enjoy hot!
