ingredients
- 100 grams besan flour
- 2 tablespoons tapioca flour
- 1/2 teaspoon aluminum free baking powder
- 2/3 cup oat milk or choice of dairy-free milk
- 2 tablespoons almond butter or choice of nut butter (If your almond butter is not creamy, reduce a little and add vegetable oil)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Method
Step 1
In a bowl, whisk all the dry ingredients. Add all the wet ingredients and mix well. Add more milk if you wish.
Step 2
Pour batter into a hot and greased waffle iron and cook until golden and crispy. Enjoy heated up in a toaster as well.
