ingredients
- 2 cups rice, cooked and mixed with natural salt
- White sesame seeds
- 16 small Swiss chard leaves
Method
Step 1
Boil water. Add 1/2-1 tsp salt and boil Swiss chard leaves for about 5-10 seconds or until lightly wilted. Chill them in cold water and squeeze the liquid. Cut stems and place leaves on a flat container. Sprinkle natural fine salt on the surface. Set aside.
Step 2
Make small-ish rice balls (mines are 40g each).
Step 3
Pat leaves with paper towels to absorb extra liquid and wrap rice balls. Wrap so that the veins on the back of the leaves are on the outside of the rice balls.
